SHARK LAUNCHES www.WHSRN.org, MULTI-NATIONAL WEB PORTAL – WESTERN HEMISPHERE SHOREBIRD RESERVE NETWORK

BURLINGTON, VT -- Shark Communications, a leading advertising, marketing and interactive agency has recently created a new identity and a collaborative online portal for WHSRN (Western Hemisphere Shorebird Reserve Network), an alliance of public and private organizations throughout the Americas.  With the governing body  including members from the Canadian Wildlife Service, the US Forest Service, Centro de Zoología Aplicada, Argentina, the Panama Audubon Society, and more, the WHSRN network is dedicated to preserving critical shorebird habitat throughout North and South America.  Shark was first retained in 2005 to re-brand the organization through the development of a new logo and coordinated graphics system, and was later asked to redesign the web site. The new web site utilizes state-of-the-art content management technology, integrates Google Maps, flash-based location maps, and through integral, multiple mini-web sites, provides individual shorebird site managers with self-administration abilities. The web site is hosted on Shark’s private, corporate hosting platform that offers comprehensive system administration and security services to clients. For more information on WHSRN, please visit www.whsrn.org.  Shark Communications is a full-service strategic, creative and interactive agency serving clients in a variety of industries and geographic locations.
